Peter had his first novel published at
the age of 26 but began writing for television and
quickly became one of Scotland's most prolific and
successful television drama creators and scriptwriters.
In 15 years he accrued more than 1,000 writing credits
and created 3 major prime-time TV serials for BBC and
the Independent television in the UK. He quit television
in the late 1990s to return to his first love, novels,
and has written 20 to date.
Peter's books are published in the USA and UK by Quercus and translated into more than 15 languages and published across Europe and the rest of the world.
